The following is a direct quote from the Ragg’s homepage:
“UPDATE:
Due to a serious health issue, we are forced to temporarily suspend taking new orders,
effective immediately. I will work to fill our existing orders as I can, but it
may take several weeks. Please have patience.
If our situation improves, we may resume taking orders in a month or two. Time will
tell.”
As of right now,
all the Crusader Rail Ragg’s…to Riches kits are spoken
for.
The last dealer order that I was allowed to place was sent to Ragg’s on March 30th,
as per my website notice. That order contained any customer orders as well as some
additional stock. However, Joe & Lori are going thru a difficult time right now and
I am uncertain when the kits will arrive.
All orders received after March 30th are being put on a waiting list. These orders
will be filled after the pre-March 30th orders, in the order they were received, until
the stock runs out. Quite frankly, the late demand (due to the notice) has been higher
than I expected. When I reach your name on the waiting list, I will contact you to
let you know if your kit is still available or not.
If you really want a kit, my only suggestions are:
- Watch the internet for any private sales
- Check with the other Ragg’s former dealers
- Hope the situation improves and Joe begins taking limited orders again
If you already have a kit and have built it — marvel at it’s quality; attention
to detail and the obvious love put into that kit — and thank your lucky stars.
